LazyTown is a television program for kids that originated as an Icelandish live play. It was created by Magnus Scheving, an aerobics champion who also starred in the stageshow.
LazyTown's central character is Stephanie who is new to town and is always encouraging her friends Ziggy, Trixie, Stingy, and Pixel to be active and to go outside to play. She is foiled by Robbie Rotten who is always trying to get the kids to do 'lazy' things. When Sportacus comes to help, then LazyTown banded together to make it the best place in the world to live.
Sportacus is the healthy-hero of the show, constantly saving people. He doesn't see himself as a superhero, though, just a Slightly-Above-Average-Hero. Robbie Rotten is always trying to get the kids to eat junk food, and to push Sportacus out of LazyTown. With all the effort that Robbie Rotten goes to for his plans, he is often the most energetic person in LazyTown!
